CRM for Outlook Message

Some Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Online users become frustrated by the reoccurring “Get CRM for Outlook” messages, which appear even after they've installed it. While you can just close the message on your screen, that is just a temporary fix. A complete fix requires you to remove the message for all of your CRM users. In this post, I will explain how to get rid of these annoying messages for good.


To remedy the situation, launch Dynamics CRM, click on Settings, then click on Administration, then click on System Settings. Under the Outlook tab change the "Outlook client is advertised to users in the Message Bar" to No.


That should do it. Hopefully this post will help improve your user acceptance, and reduce user frustrations.
